Securitas acquires security electronic monitoring business

Multinational security services group Securitas has been advised on its acquisition of the Staysafe security electronic monitoring business.

Key players: The Bakers team was led by senior associate Lawrence Mendes, who was assisted by Ben McLaughlin, Emily Hunter, Kathryn Schultz and Alanna Rennie.

Deal significance: Speaking about the deal, Mr Mendes said: “This transaction continues our client, Securitas’, growth trajectory in further becoming a leader in the global security market. The complimentary Staysafe business will provide an expanded local platform in Australia.”
