Global to combine with local firm
A global law firm has confirmed it will combine its services with another player, in a move that will see it gain an additional 13 partners.

Dentons has confirmed it is to combine its offering with existing associate firm, Adelaide-based Fisher Jeffries.
“Dentons is delighted to be formalising its longstanding relationship with 130 year old firm Fisher Jeffries,” said Ian Dardis, Dentons’ Australia CEO.
“Fisher Jeffries has an excellent reputation in South Australia as a specialist commercial firm, built on an intimate understanding of the local business market. And, as Australia’s defence hub, we see the combination with a leading local firm as having benefits for both domestic and global clients.”
Karen Thomas, Fisher Jeffries managing partner, added: “The combination with Dentons will help launch our South Australian firm into the global marketplace and bring even more benefits for clients”.
“Clients will continue to benefit from working with a local firm that has operated in South Australia since 1885. They will now also have access to lawyers in 175 locations and to Dentons’ innovative, cost-effective and market-leading solutions.”
