Ashurst adds new arbitration partner to its ranks
Global firm Ashurst has moved to strengthen its infrastructure and construction disputes capabilities with the appointment of a new partner.

Bill Smith – who worked for Blake Dawson (now Ashurst) from 2005 to 2011 has returned to the firm, having most recently worked for Pinsent Masons, where he was a partner in that firm’s Dubai office since 2012.
“I am delighted to welcome Bill back to the firm and I am confident that he will help our global team to capitalise on the major opportunities in the market,” he added.
Mr Smith added: “Ashurst has a very strong client base in the infrastructure and construction sectors and exceptional arbitration credentials. According to the firm, Mr Smith has “extensive experience in litigation, expert determination, adjudication and alternative dispute resolution, and regularly advises clients on the restructuring of distressed infrastructure projects”.
