Charter Hall advised on 3 property acquisitions

Residential property managers company Charter Hall has been advised on multiple property acquisitions in Sydney and Melbourne, with a combined value of almost $1 billion.

Firm: Allens (Charter Hall)

Deal: Charter Hall has acquired three major properties, including 10 and 12 Shelley Street and 21-25 Sussex Street in the King Street Wharf precinct, Sydney, Campbellfield Plaza in Melbourne’s north, and the freehold acquisition of Chifley Tower in the Sydney CBD.

Value: $976.5 million

Area: Real Estate

Key players: The Allens team consisted of: partners Alexandra Peace and Craig Milner, managing associate Annabelle Aland, senior associates Lucy Woodruff, Peter Brennan and Tom Tian, and paralegals Maria Rughetta, Hilda Lowe and Patty Tooze.

Deal significance: “We are delighted to have assisted Charter Hall with these significant transactions. This trio of acquisitions represents Charter Hall’s innovative investment in Australia’s changing commercial real estate market,” said Ms Peace.
