Vobile Group advised on acquisitions from data analytics company
Online video content protection service provider Vobile Group has been advised on the acquisition of assets from Australian data analytics company IP-Echelon.

Firm: King & Wood Mallesons (Vobile)
Value: Undisclosed.
Area: Corporate finance.
Key players: The KWM Hong Kong team was led by partner Anthony Wan, who was assisted by associate Albert Wong and registered foreign lawyer Wallace Wong.
The Australian team advised the client in respect of the Australian law and was led by partners Will Heath and Kai-Chen Lamb.
Deal significance: Commenting on the transaction, Mr Wan said: “Our client is one of the highly-regarded and experienced companies in the content protection industry and we are pleased to have worked with them to deliver this transaction.”
“Following the OPUS Group’s listing in October 2018, this marks another successful case showcasing our integrated Hong Kong and Australian capabilities in an M&A transaction,” he added.
