Minters' last remaining Aussie capital city offices to merge under one entity
One of Asia-Pacific’s most recognised law firms has revealed it will integrate the last of its remaining Australian capital city offices to exist under one entity.

Late last night MinterEllison confirmed to Lawyers Weekly that it will fully integrate its offices and partnership in South Australia and the Northern Territory with the remaining MinterEllison Australia team, effective from the end of this financial year.
“Whilst we have been working together as an affiliated firm for many years, it is fantastic we are now fully integrated,” said Adam Bannister, MinterEllison managing partner SA&NT.
“As we already operate as one brand in the market, we will continue to focus on providing excellent standards of service.”
Bruce Cowley, MinterEllison partner and chairman, offered a similar sentiment, saying the integration is an exciting development for the firm.
“We're in a position to provide seamless service to our clients across all mainland capitals,” said Mr Cowley.
“Our national footprint will provide real value for our clients and deliver them a distinctive experience.”
To note
MinterEllison Gold Coast remains an independent franchise, though a statement confirms that the Gold Coast office operates as "members of the MinterEllison Legal Group", along with MinterEllisonRuddWatts Auckland/Wellington, whereas "MinterEllison's network comprises the offices of MinterEllison (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Perth, Adelaide, Darwin, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Ulaanbaatar and London)".
Correction: An earlier version of this article quoted that MinterEllison had integrated the last of its remaining Australian offices. This has now been amended to reflect that the firm's Gold Coast office remains independent.
