Former bank CIO steps into new top-tier role
Ashurst has announced that a new chief technology officer will commence with the firm from May.
Noel Jordan will begin his new position as the top technology officer at Ashurst next month. He joins the firm from GE Capital, where he served as chief information officer of GE Capital Bank (UK) and more recently as group IT director for GE Capital International.

A statement from the firm said that Mr Jordan has more than 30 years’ experience leading corporates in the financial services, utilities and engineering sectors.
Commenting on his new role, Mr Jordan said that he was looking forward to contributing to the growth of the firm.
“The continued transformation within the legal sector and the role that technology plays in driving that change makes joining Ashurst a fascinating opportunity,” Mr Jordan said.
Jan Gooze-Zijl, chief financial and operations officer at Ashurst, added that Mr Jordan brought with him a strong track record in leading and “driving transformation and innovation”.
“We are confident that he will play a critical role in continuing to further develop our technology programs and initiatives to ensure that our service offering operates at the forefront of the market,” Mr Gooze-Zijl said.
