Australian firm makes senior promotions
A law firm with offices around the country has announced a round of senior promotions.

HWL Ebsworth announced yesterday that it has promoted four new partners, seven special counsel and 18 senior associates.
Banking and finance specialist Katherine Shann has joined the partnership in Brisbane.
HWL Ebsworth also promoted Andrew Crocker, Anita Wear, Kathy Gray, Katrina Pagey, Ryan Sanders, Veena Bedekar and Veronica Mignone to special counsel across its Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Canberra and Adelaide offices.
Managing partner Juan Martinez congratulated the new partners, special counsel and senior associates.
“Each of the promoted team members have demonstrated a commitment to delivering outstanding quality and value, while concentrating on continuous improvement for the benefit of our clients and the firm more broadly,” he said.
“Their promotions are a reflection of their potential to play an even greater role in the firm’s continued growth, and I congratulate all of our promoted team members for taking this next exciting career step.”
The announcement follows HWL’s largest ever round of promotions, which took place earlier this year.
