Engineering giant acquires Aquenta Consulting

Two firms have advised on an acquisition that saw an engineering giant acquire Aquenta Consulting, a leading provider of integrated project services to public and private sector clients in Australia.

Deal: Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (Jacobs) has acquired Aquenta Consulting from Amec Foster Wheeler.

Key players: The legal team advising Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. was led by Clarendon Lawyers managing director Tony Symons (pictured), with assistance from senior associates Billy Dwyer and Sarah Noble.

Deal significance: Aquenta Consulting is a leading provider of integrated project services to public and private sector clients in Australia. The company helps owners, operators and investors in infrastructure and property assets achieve their objectives at a strategic, portfolio, program and project level.

Jacobs is one of the world’s largest and most diverse providers of full-spectrum technical, professional and construction services for industrial, commercial and government organisations globally.

Jacobs’ acquisition of Aquenta Consulting will help bolster Jacobs’ Asia-Pacific buildings and infrastructure business.
