ME completes $1.5bn fundraising
A cross-border team from a global firm has advised ME on its residential mortgage backed fundraising.

Deal significance: ME (formerly ME Bank) made a significant residential mortgage backed fundraising of $1.5 billion.
The SMHL Series Securitisation Fund 2016-1 transaction used for the raising was the most attractively priced Australian residential mortgage backed security (RMBS) for the year according to Norton Rose Fulbright, with the most senior notes issuing at year-low margins.
