Two Australian law firms have helped a Chinese company to strike Australian gold

Melbourne-based partner James Stewart and associate Andrew Fisken from Melbourne led the Australian team. Beijing-based partner Wang Yi and John Gillmer from the firm’s Cape Town office were also involved
Deal significance: Stonewall Mining has stakes in gold mining projects in South Africa and Australia. “The signing reflects a great achievement for all parties,” said Stonewall Resources chairman David Murray.
