Deal: Sale of Stonewall Resources subsidiary, Stonewell Mining, to Shandong Qixing Iron Tower Co Ltd

Key players: The Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) team comprised of lawyers from Australia, China and South Africa. Melbourne-based partner James Stewart and associate Andrew Fisken from Melbourne led the Australian team. Beijing-based partner Wang Yi and John Gillmer from the firm’s Cape Town office were also involved
Deal significance: Stonewall Mining has stakes in gold mining projects in South Africa and Australia. “The signing reflects a great achievement for all parties,” said Stonewall Resources chairman David Murray.
