Freehills has advised SP AusNet on its $434 million entitlement offer to security holders in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, announced 16 May 2012.

Partner Robert Nicholson led the Freehills team advising SP AusNet, supported by Amy Goble, executive counsel and Jessica Chen, solicitor.

SP AusNet’s general counsel, Susan Taylor and Senior Commercial Lawyer, Evan Holland provided in house legal services in support of this transaction.

Freehills has been involved with SP AusNet since its IPO in 2005.

Clayton Utz's Stuart Byrne and senior associate Richard Knott advised underwriters UBS and Macquarie Capital on the accelerated non-renounceable pro rate entitlement offer.
