MEGA UK firm Eversheds will help bring one of the greatest rock n' roll bands in history into the technologically advanced present.

The firm is advising The Beatles on a deal to put 45 of the band's songs on to the video game Rock Band.

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr launched the karaoke-style game this week at a major media and business summit in Los Angeles.

It's the first time The Beatles' music has been licensed to a third part for use in an interactive, video game format.

Eversheds partner Nick Valner, with assistant Andrew terry, advised Apple Corps on the deal.

It is not known whether the Eversheds partners have been working eight days a week on the deal.
