Mayer Brown overhauls top-level positions

Global law firm Mayer Brown’s partnership has approved an overhaul of its governance structure that will see chairman Paul Maher miss out on a top-level management role. Under the new structure the vice-chairman seats, of which there were two, are formally eliminated. The management committee was also charged with selecting a managing partner, and they picked Maher’s counterpart in Washington DC litigation partner Kenneth Geller, LegalWeek reports.
