Baker & McKenzie has announced the appointment of three new lawyers to its partnership, effective 1 July.

The new partners include Melbourne-based employment lawyer Bryony Binns, Sydney-based corporate lawyer Christopher Hughes and Melbourne-based Peter Lucarelli in the firm's dispute resolution team.

National managing partner Mark Chapple said: "On behalf of the partners and the staff of Baker & McKenzie, I congratulate our new partners. Their election reinforces the strength of our national practice and our commitment to providing an environment in which our lawyers can excel and be rewarded for their success."

Binns, Hughes and Lucarelli join laterally appointed partners who have joined from Mallesons Stephen Jaques including Andrew Chew, Time Sherman and Geoff Wood.

Bakers have also appointed four new special counsel including Simone Campbell, Teresa Lentile, Daniel Middleton and Hai Dang Nguyen, and ten new senior associates including Sarah Andrews, Sam Appleton, Joanna Byers, Sarah Cassidy, Julie Catt, Grace Ho, Allison Manvell, Tyson May, Kellie-Ann McDade and Zoe Rafter.
