Karyn Reardon has joined Piper Alderman from HWL Ebsworth as the national law firm’s newest partner.

Karyn Reardon, who has over two decades of legal experience, joins the Piper Alderman Brisbane office as a partner in the national projects, infrastructure and construction team.

The national team, led by Martin Lovell, now has nine partners, with the newest appointment rounding out the local offering across Piper Alderman’s four offices – and brings the firm’s female partners up to 20 nationally.

Ms Reardon, a graded arbitrator with the Resolution Institute, is an experienced construction and infrastructure professional, the firm said in a statement, having specialised exclusively in construction and infrastructure law since 1995. She regularly advises on construction and infrastructure project delivery options for both public and private sector projects, construction and infrastructure contract risks, construction and infrastructure contract management and construction and infrastructure contract administration.

Previously, she was a partner at HWL Ebsworth for over 13 years.

“I’ve known many members of the Piper’s team for most of my career. They are dynamic, collaborative and consistently respond to client needs. Joining Piper Alderman’s national projects, infrastructure and construction team provides an unbeatable platform to further support my clients’ businesses,” Ms Reardon said of joining the firm.

Piper Alderman’s managing partner, Tony Britten-Jones, said that the firm was excited to welcome Ms Reardon and her expertise to the team.

“Our firm’s national plan towards 2025 has a key focus on growth in each of our offices and across our practice teams,” he said.

“We are pleased to welcome Karyn to the partnership and to have her complement our national Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team with her depth of expertise and experience in the infrastructure sector.”
