Joining from HWL Ebsworth, John Kehoe will be based in Sparke Helmore’s Melbourne office. Mr Kehoe is an accomplished senior lawyer with more than 20 years’ experience and specialises in construction and infrastructure.
Mr Kehoe has particular expertise in infrastructure agreements including engineering procurement and construction, design and construct, operation and maintenance and facilities management contracts, and development agreements.
He works with energy companies, facilities management companies, infrastructure contractors, healthcare providers, universities, developers, government agencies and building and engineering contractors. Mr Kehoe also advises clients involved in infrastructure projects, building developments, and major equipment procurement and has significant experience in advising clients on risk allocation, project structuring, market positions on material risk issues at every level of the market.
Prior to HWL Ebsworth he spent five years in Allens’ energy, resources and infrastructure group, five years in Herbert Smith Freehills’ banking and projects team and eight years as a partner in Gadens’ construction and development team.
