Clyde & Co has hired a workplace relations lawyer in its Brisbane office from a rival global firm.
Fiona Austin has joined Clyde & Co as a special counsel from Herbert Smith Freehills.
She has advised a number of major corporations in the energy and resources, transport, hospitality and education sectors.
In a prior role between 2008 and 2011, she worked as an in-house legal counsel at Ergon Energy.
Ms Austin’s appointment follows the hiring of workplace and security partners Michael Tooma and Alena Titterton from Norton Rose Fulbright earlier this year, alongside a team of lawyers.
