DibbsBarker has appointed a corporate and commercial partner who has spent the last 10 years as a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

DibbsBarker has appointed a corporate and commercial partner who has spent the last 10 years as a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Andrew Rankin (pictured) joins DibbsBarker’s Brisbane office with more than 20 years' experience.

Mr Rankin will help to boost DibbsBarker’s agribusiness, life sciences and healthcare, as well as the energy and infrastructure sectors.

He has experience in M&A and has advised on large and complex commercial transactions.

DibbsBarker managing partner Alan McArthur said: “Building our commercial capability in Brisbane has been a key priority for DibbsBarker, and Andrew is the perfect addition to our team.”

He continued: “His depth of knowledge and experience in the Queensland market is outstanding, and he has significant experience acting for clients in many of the industries that are core areas of focus for DibbsBarker.”

DibbsBarker recently appointed Fay Calderone as a partner and Andrew Rankine as a special counsel in its Sydney office, and Mark Baker-Jones as a partner in its Brisbane office.
