Based in the Sydney office, Mr Grover (pictured) has joined Piper Alderman from King & Wood Mallesons, where he had been since 2001.

Mr Grover has been an IP specialist in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 15 years, advising clients across the full IP spectrum on both litigation and advisory matters.

While his practice is focused on disputes, he also provides advice in relation to a range of commercial IP matters including patents, confidential information/ knowhow, trademarks, copyright and designs.

Co-head of Piper Alderman’s intellectual property and regulatory practice teams, Teresa Nicoletti, said: “His appointment reflects the growth of our national team and with a practitioner of Julian’s calibre we expect this trajectory to continue.

“We see a lot of opportunity in the pharmaceutical industry as more and more clients are turning to Piper Alderman for advice. Our clients appreciate the fact that many of our lawyers, having degrees in both science and law, understand and speak the same language!”

Mr Grover holds Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Laws degrees with honours from The University of Sydney.
