We make our jobs easier through the integration of technology and work flows, and do not have secretarial pools. However, we do have administration teams which help with secretarial tasks.
Are you a litigation lawyer of 2+ PAE? Do you love to hit the ground and go? Do you have experience in Queensland and Federal Courts? If so, we would love to meet you! The practice is generally commercial litigation, however, there are a number of property disputes in the pool of matters. We also have a body corporate levy recovery practice which largely runs itself.
We have each previously worked in the big firms, and we know what it is to be shoe-boxed into an area of law. If you would like to have exposure in property, tax or estate structuring, we are happy to give you the opportunity to work with these teams. You never know where your passion truly is until you have had a chance to give other opportunities a try. However, with our incredible litigation lawyer flying away, we need to fill this position and your job will be primarily litigation.
We anticipate the position will have a base salary package of $86,000 (inclusive of superannuation, practicing certificate, marketing and education budget and parking). Any candidate with their own client will benefit from a profit share on top of the base salary. Further, candidates exceeding budget will qualify for fee split. We are not limiting the recruitment to a candidate of 2+ PAE, and we realise that a candidate with greater experience will likely want to be on a higher package. Therefore, if that is you, let us know – because we want quality and fit, and if we have to pay a bit more, then that’s okay.
