Ms Castley (pictured) joined Colin Biggers & Paisley from Mullins Lawyers, where she had been for 18 years.

Ms Castley has extensive experience in the acquisition and sale of commercial, industrial, retail and residential property, due diligence, joint ventures and leasing.

She also advises on commercial and retail greenfield developments and refurbishments, strata titling and flat land subdivisions, as well as body corporate matters, including general advice, management rights and disputes.

“Rebecca is well known as a leading lawyer in her field and brings a wealth of knowledge to our practice,” Dunstan de Souza, the managing partner of Colin Biggers & Paisley, said.

“We are delighted that a lawyer of such standing has joined our property team.”

Colin Biggers & Paisley recently appointed employment and safety partner Megan Kavanagh to its Brisbane office from MinterEllison.

The firm also recently lost partner Martin Deutsch to Holding Redlich and senior associate Claire MacMillan to Wotton + Kearney.
