Pipers' tune lures NRF lawyer
Mid-tier firm Piper Alderman has recruited Norton Rose Fulbright’s Aaron Suine as a partner in its construction practice.
Suine (pictured) was a senior associate specialising in construction and engineering at NRF.
Head of Pipers’ property and projects team Tony Britten-Jones said the firm’s clients are demanding legal advice in the construction, infrastructure and development space.
“Aaron’s expertise in this important and growing sector will complement and strengthen our national practice and our offering to clients,” he said.
Acting for major developers, contractors and suppliers, Suine has advised on various projects including the Sydney Light Rail, the North West Rail Link, as well as many liquefied natural gas projects in Queensland and Western Australia.
During his four years at NRF as a senior associate, Suine was involved in a number of public private partnerships (PPP) projects including the South East Queensland Schools PPP Project, New Generation Rollingstock PPP Project, and the Gold Coast Rapid Transport PPP Project.
