Minters takes IP partner
Minter Ellison has plucked another partner from Kelly & Co ahead of the SA firm’s acquisition by HWL Ebsworth.
Intellectual property partner Lisa Jarrett (pictured) joined Minters’ corporate practice last week (16 July). She moved across from the now defunct Kelly & Co, where she had been a partner for the past two years.
Her expertise spans commercial transactions and IP law as well as trade practices and privacy legislation. She is also a registered trade mark attorney.
Jarrett is the latest Kelly & Co partner to depart the firm in recent weeks.
Corporate, energy and resources partner Andrew Corletto joined Minters’ Adelaide office on 14 July, the same day HWL Ebsworth officially took over Kelly & Co.
In June, banking & finance head Martin Lovell also left Kelly & Co to join SA firm Laity Morrow.
