Property and projects partner Ron Eames has left Thomsons Lawyers to join Holding Redlich in Brisbane.
Eames (pictured right) specialises in major projects, infrastructure and project financing, property development and M&A.

In 2011, Eames and eight other DLA Piper partners defected to Thomsons after voting against the integration of DLA Phillips Fox with DLA Piper. The move helped Thomsons expand its national reach into Brisbane.
Holding Redlich’s managing partner in Brisbane, Paul Venus, revealed that Eames already works with a number of the firm’s existing clients.
The Brisbane office has also recruited senior associate Katie Miller (pictured below) to the property and projects team. Miller previously worked as in-house lawyer for an international gas company.
