Italian job condemns lawyer
A British tax lawyer has been sentenced to four-and-a-half years in jail for accepting a bribe from Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, ABC News reports.
An Italian court found 64-year-old corporate lawyer David Mills guilty of accepting a $900,000 bribe from Mr Berlusconi in return for fabricating evidence in two corruption trials involving the Prime Minister 10 years ago.

“I am naturally very disappointed by this verdict. I am innocent but this is a highly political case,” he said.
Berlusconi was facing the same court proceedings but after his success at last year's election he changed the country’s laws to grant himself immunity from prosecution as Prime Minister.
