LAW firm Slater and Gordon has taken an associate from rival firm Shine Lawyers in Perth.
Karina Hafford, a specialist in negligence law, joins the firm with 13 years legal experience. She specialises in plaintiff personal injury and medical negligence claims.
Hafford has a real sense of duty driven by genuine desire to help those “who can not fight for themselves”, the firm said.
When she was at Shine Lawyers, her biography had her quoted as saying that "not everyone is allowed to represent others, it is therefor a privilege to do so, and with privilege comes responsibility".
She joined Shine Lawyers in 2008 and was promoted to associate in 2009. She was admitted as a solicitor in 1998.
