Truman Hoyle has appointed two partners, Michael Montgomery and Justin Senescall, and two senior lawyers, Sally Barber and Jonathon Corlett.

Montgomery (picured), previously at HWL Ebsworth, is an experienced corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in technology, intellectual property and telecommunications law.

Senescall, formerly with Middletons, is a specialist IP lawyer who brings a particular focus on trademarks and brand strategy, copyright and domain name disputes.

Barber joins the firm as a senior litigation and dispute resolution lawyer with 15 years’ experience in both Australia and Singapore.

Corlett joins Truman Hoyle’s industrial law team.  He has worked in the industrial relations sector since 1996 and has extensive experience across all facets of employment and industrial law.

Truman Hoyle managing partner Andrew Seaton said the new appointments showed Truman Hoyle’s commitment to being the premier specialist new-economy law firm in the region.

“While much has been made of the impact of the mining sector on the Australian economy in recent years, the industry sectors where we focus have also enjoyed good times, with every indication being that these sectors remain very robust,” said Seaton.
