Gadens partner jumps ship to Mills Oakley
Mills Oakley Lawyers in Melbourne has expanded, with the appointment of a corporate advisory partner, Daniel Livingston.
His addition takes the firm’s total partnership to 38, an increase of more than 20 per cent in 12 months.
Livingston has done work for clients in both Australia and the US, and managed M&A and private equity transactions, schemes of arrangements and capital raisings. He also has expertise in corporate governance and risk management.
He has advised leading brands like Tabcorp, Echo Entertainment, Fosters, ANZ, Westpac, Philip Morris, Incitec Pivot, Exxon Mobil and AWB Limited.
Mills Oakley chief executive John Nerurker said Livingston’s experience would complement the capabilities of the firm’s national corporate advisory team, which spans Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
“Daniel is highly respected within the legal sector and has depth of experience working for both legal firms and in-house at leading publicly-listed companies. His knowledge and expertise on both sides of the fence will enable Mills Oakley to better service the needs of our clients,” said Nerurker.
