Squires nabs North star from Minters
The foundation partner of Minter Ellison’s Darwin office has joined the international dispute resolution practice of Squire Sanders in Perth.
Cris Cureton established Minters’ Darwin office in 2003 and has since been regarded as a prominent lawyer in the Northern Territory project and construction industry and one of the state’s leading litigation lawyers.
His areas of expertise include: adjudication, arbitration and mediation; litigation and dispute resolution; projects and public private partnerships, including aboriginal land, native title and sacred site agreements and clearances.
Cureton will work from the Perth office but will spend time in Darwin so he can continue to provide services in that market.
Squire Sanders’ construction and projects team, which is led by Greg Steinepreis, services clients across Australia.
