He brings with him more than 35 years’ experience in corporate law advising both listed and unlisted companies.
Rosedale’s experience includes acting for issuers, underwriters, investors and other stakeholders in IPOs, ASX listings, rights issues and institutional and private placements, as well as providing advice and strategic guidance on corporate law and governance, the Corporations Act, and ASX and ASIC regulatory requirements.
David Rennick, Maddocks' CEO, said: “Charles’ experience and expertise will complement the firm’s commercial practice. His extensive experience in dealing with regulatory bodies such as ASIC and the ASX, and his excellent working relationships with both organisations, will allow us to further strengthen our offering to the firm’s corporate clients.”
Rosedale is the fourth senior lawyer from a top-tier firm to join Maddocks’ commercial team in the last 12 months.
Ron Smooker (corporate), Stuart Weir (banking and finance) and Michael Argy (information and communications technology) have also recently moved to Maddocks from top-tier firms.
