Pot smokers court out

A six month intelligence gathering operation conducted by Taree police has ended in a massive result for law enforcers: a whole three people were nabbed outside Taree Local Court for possession of (shock! horror!) marijuana.
Apparently, police had suspicions that a significant amount of people were using drugs outside court, particularly on hearing days.
"The lesson is clear - drug possession will lead to serious criminal charges," said Police Commander York in a statement on Tuesday.
Now, forgive Folklaw for being facetious, but did it really take the cops six months to figure out it was likely that people standing outside court might just have weed in their pockets?
It's Taree, for crying out loud. 'Nuff said.
