ADELAIDE-BASED LAW firm, Finlaysons, has expanded its commercial property, construction and commercial disputes business.

Gavin Cragg, Jared Siviour and Danielle Norris have joined the commercial property team, while Nadia Shivarev has joined commercial disputes.

Appointed as a senior associate, Cragg will work in the area of development and building, particularly on issues pertaining to leasing, acquisition and disposals. Siviour has joined as solicitor and will provide advice on leases, contracts and general property matters, along with wills and estates matters.

A recently admitted solicitor, Norris will primarily instruct on commercial leasing matters as well as building and construction disputes.

Shivarev has returned to the construction and commercial disputes team as a solicitor, after previously working for the firm in 2003, and conduct building and construction work. Shivarev previously worked for the Government Housing Authority and has experience in commercial litigation in the Magistrates Court and the High Court. She also currently serves as chairperson for the Housing Association which advocates developing alternative solutions to housing for youths under 25 at risk of homelessness.
