BUILDING ON its energy and resources expertise, Perth firm Lavan Legal has appointed John Garvey to the position of special counsel.

Garvey brings to the firm considerable expertise in major projects and transactions in the mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.

He has experience in major minerals and petroleum projects, government ratified agreements, joint ventures, international sales of iron ore, salt and other bulk commodities, shipping of bulk commodities including long-term contracts of affreightment, native title and engineering construction and project management documentation.
