GADENS LAWYERS has boosted its property and corporate advisory capabilities in Brisbane with the appointments of Margarita Escartin and Kelly-Ann Quin.

 
 

A specialist in native title, Escartin has joined the firm’s property and commercial services team. Escartin specialises in strategic planning, particularly in relation to native title and cultural heritage matters.

She has particular expertise in the development, implementation and management of Indigenous Land Use Agreement negotiations and has worked on large-scale tenure resolution projects and land use for mining gas pipelines and other infrastructure. She has also had the carriage of conduct of native title claims and has participated in mediation towards native title claims resolution.

Joining the firm’s corporate advisory team, Quinn is a government specialist who was previously based in Canberra. She brings to Gadens considerable experience in commercial, contract, tendering and probity advice for a range of government clients such as the Department of Defence, the Department of Finance and Administration, Centrelink and Medicare.
