FRANCHISING AND contract law specialist Teresa Torcasio has joined Herbert Geer as a partner.

Torcasio has moved to the firm from Freehills, where she worked for nearly 10 years focusing on commercial sports and entertainment law. She has acted for a wide range of clients throughout her career, including major retailers, logistics companies, celebrities, receivers and managers, franchisors and franchisees, athletes and sporting groups, mining companies and waste disposal companies.

She has particular interest in the doctrine of good faith in Australia and has conducted a number of external seminars on the topic over the last few years.
