BLAKE DAWSON has bolstered its Sydney litigation team with the recent appointment of Georgia Quick as a partner.
The main focus of Quick’s practice is the construction of key contractual provisions such as liquidated damages, extensions of time, performance testing, termination, payment procedures, variations, defects and design responsibility. She also advises on dispute resolution clauses.
Quick has moved across to Blake Dawson from Clayton Utz, where she was a special counsel in the firm’s major projects group. She also spent seven years with London firm Pinsent Masons in the international arbitration and energy group, where she gained an in-depth knowledge of the conventional power industry and uranium and nuclear power industry.
She has advised on disputes in England, Europe, Nigeria, India, Philippines and Hong Kong, including international arbitrations in the energy and construction sectors.
