Russell Kennedy Lawyers has welcomed the arrival of a new special counsel who specialises in intellectual property and information technology.

Gina Tresidder has been appointed at the firm, joining the corporate and commercial team.

Throughout her career, Ms Tresidder has acted for clients in a diverse range of industries including fast-moving consumer goods, medical products, healthcare, industrial and automotive products, media, marketing, food and hospitality, property development, franchising, fashion, insurance, financial services, government and technology.

She brings 12 years’ experience to Russell Kennedy and has worked in multiple states in Australia and Japan.

“Gina is a great addition to our team, she has first rate expertise and a great reputation,” said corporate and commercial group leader, Rohan Harris.

Her appointment further strengthens our corporate and commercial offering for both corporate and government clients and commitment to delivering the best outcomes for our clients.”

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.

Emma has worked for Momentum Media since 2015, including five years spent as the editor of the company's legal brand - Lawyers Weekly. Throughout her time at Momentum, she has been responsible for breaking some of the biggest stories in corporate Australia. In addition, she has produced exclusive multimedia and event content related to the company's respective brands and audiences. 

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
