WA-headquartered law firm Lavan has named Mario Pisano as the new COO, bringing with him over 25 years experience in finance, strategy, commercial and client management.

Mr Pisano's new role will see him report to Lavan managing partner Dean Hely and work closely with the Lavan partners and management team, according to a statement from the firm.

As chief operations officer, Mario will be responsible for supporting the operational aspects of the firm and the implementation of the firm’s strategy, it noted.

“Mario is very highly regarded. His operational and strategic experience is exceptional and he will provide valuable organisational support to advance Lavan’s commitment to service excellence and to our growth strategy,” Mr Hely said, commenting on Lavan's latest appointee.

Commenting on his appointment, Mr Pisano said: “I am excited to be joining Lavan”.

“I look forward to working with this innovative and independent law firm to help deliver their objectives for service excellence, client focus, growth, employee satisfaction and commitment to the Western Australian community.”
