Award-winning firm strengthens national insolvency team

One firm has announced it has brought on an accomplished insolvency and commercial litigation lawyer to join its Sydney office.

Keypoint Law has welcomed Mark Tierney (pictured) to its national insolvency team, based in Sydney.

Mr Tierney brings a background in insolvency and commercial litigation to his new role, having advised on numerous liquidations, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangements and personal bankruptcy matters.

Before joining Keypoint Law, Mr Tierney held a number of senior legal positions, including as executive lawyer (partner equivalent) at Bartier Perry, and special counsel at Mills Oakley.

Keypoint Law CEO Warren Kalinko said the firm is delighted to welcome Mr Tierney to its Sydney office.

“Mark’s depth of experience strengthens our growing insolvency team, with the firm now having an ability to act across NSW and Victoria on complex insolvency matters,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Tierney said: “I’m excited to join Keypoint Law, which has gained a first-class reputation since its Australian launch just three years ago with its highly regarded team of experienced practitioners”.

“I look forward to bringing my insolvency knowledge to the growing team and using the flexibility of the Keypoint model to provide a more efficient and streamlined service to my clients,” he said.

Keypoint Law’s growing national insolvency team also comprises of Michael Rozdal and Penny Pengilley.

The firm picked up the Boutique Diversity Law Firm of the Year award at last year’s Women in Law Awards.

Emma Musgrave (née Ryan) is the managing editor, professional services at Momentum Media.

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.

She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
