Keypoint appoints new government lawyer
Keypoint Law has welcomed the arrival of a new government lawyer.
The firm has announced Dr Gary Rumble's appointment, bringing to his new role vast experience in advising government on complex matters.
His brings to Keypoint particular expertise in administrative law, liability issues for government agencies, legislation design, drafting of instruments and drafting instructions, and conducting inquiries.
Prior to joining Keypoint, Dr Rumble held senior positions in government, including the chief counsel role with the Commonwealth Department of Human Services.
He has also been a partner with Blakes (now Ashurst) and DLA Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper).
Dr Rumble said he is excited about his new career path at Keypoint.
“I was attracted by Keypoint Law's claim of ‘emphasis on personal service by senior lawyers, with flexible offerings and low overheads’. I have had a good look behind the scenes. I am confident that Keypoint Law will give me greater flexibility in working with clients to suit their needs than traditional law firms can deliver,” Dr Rumble said.

Prior to joining Momentum Media, Emma worked in breakfast radio, delivering news to the Central West region of NSW, before taking on a radio journalist role at Southern Cross Austereo, based in Townsville, North Queensland.
She holds a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) degree from Charles Sturt University.
