Construction lawyer Michael Loterzo (pictured) has joined Lander & Rogers from Rigby Cooke Lawyers, where he specialised in front- and back-end construction matters.

Prior to this, Mr Loterzo held both legal and operational roles as general counsel and part of the executive team at Grocon, and as the operational services manager and building division manager at Leighton Contractors.

Lisa Gaddie, head of Lander & Rogers’ property, projects and infrastructure practice, said she was delighted to welcome Mr Loterzo to the team.

Michael's appointment complements and builds on the team's construction expertise and supports our firm's focus on opportunities in the infrastructure sector,” Ms Gaddie said.

“Michael brings a wealth of unique industry experience to the practice from his time in-house that will be highly valuable to our clients.”

Mr Loterzo said he is excited to be joining the firm at a time when there is a big focus on Australia’s construction sector.

“Lander & Rogers is well known in the Australian market for the quality of its client base, and enjoys longstanding relationships with many of its clients,” he said.

“It is exciting to be joining the firm's property, projects and infrastructure practice at a time when there is such an industry and government focus on infrastructure development.

“The firm also continues to expand its real estate footprint in both the Australian and Singapore markets and there are related opportunities for construction work, which the team and I are looking forward to pursuing.”
