Firm appoints 1, promotes 6
A Western Australia-headquartered firm has unveiled seven new appointments, including a new partner.
Lavan is pleased to announce that it has appointed Tim Morgan as a partner to the firm’s property and leasing team.
Throughout his career, Mr Morgan has acted for various property developers, landlords, individuals and the government on the acquisition and disposal of land, land subdivision and development, joint ventures, the financing of projects and retail and commercial leasing.
“Tim works tirelessly and has developed a reputation both within Lavan and generally as one of Perth’s leading property lawyers,” Lavan managing partner Dean Hely said.
“Tim is actively involved in all aspects of Lavan life and is an integral part of the firm. Tim’s appointment is well deserved.”
Meanwhile, the firm has announced Alex McGlue has been promoted to the role of senior associate in Lavan’s planning and environment practice. He specialises in town planning, environment and land compensation law, representing clients in appeal proceedings, planning prosecutions and deputations.
Julie McKeesick has also been promoted to senior associate, within the firm’s property and leasing team. Her role involves drafting and negotiating leases on behalf of landlord and tenant clients for retail, commercial and airport premises.
Steve Bowler has been promoted as an associate within Lavan’s employment and safety team, Kim Duong has been promoted to an associate within Lavan’s property and leasing team, Brendan Foley has been promoted to an associate within the firm’s planning and environment practice, and Mun Lai Lim has been promoted to an associate in its corporate services team.
“Lavan is very proud to make these appointments,” Mr Hely said.
“They are a reflection of each lawyer's commitment to clients, hard work and professional growth.”
