Dalvin Chien (pictured) brings over 12 years’ experience in commercial law to the firm.

Throughout his career, Mr Chien had held a number of senior in-house counsel roles, providing specialised and general legal counsel in various market sectors, including technology, telecommunications, government, construction and hospitality.

CBP corporate and commercial partner David Kennedy congratulated Mr Chien on his new role.

We are delighted that Dalvin has joined Colin Biggers & Paisley. Dalvin has a reputation as a leading commercial lawyer,” he said.

“His breadth of commercial experience will bolster our corporate and commercial team.

“We have a very strong presence in the technology and telecommunications space and Dalvin's appointment will continue to strengthen that.

Mr Chien said he is excited for the opportunity to work with the firm and is committed to delivering excellent client service.

“The practice provides me an opportunity to expand my commercial practice while continuing to build on my technology expertise, which I will incorporate into the firm's overall commercial offering,” he said.

“I'm looking forward to working with the team to closely partner with our clients in navigating the increasingly complex and challenging environment in which they operate.

“I also look forward to contributing to the firm's continued growth and positive culture.

The appointment of Mr Chien follows the appointment of insurance special counsel Louise Edmonds and property partner Duane Keighran.
