Brisbane team announces new special counsel

William Roberts Lawyers has welcomed the appointment of a new special counsel and team leader to its Brisbane office.

Emma Bray joins William Roberts Lawyers, bringing with her a breadth of experience in insurance.

Ms Bray specialises in property liability, personal injury, public liability and workers' compensation. She is also an experienced commercial litigator and negotiator.

Throughout her career, Ms Bray has been a legal adviser in a number of cases, including workers' compensation personal injury claims, workers' compensation strategic statutory claims management and statutory reviews, public liability claims, professional indemnity matters, general commercial litigation and unfair dismissal and adverse action claims.

She has also defended numerous trials in the Queensland District and Supreme Courts.

Ms Bray joins William Roberts Lawyers from BTLawyers where she was a senior associate. Prior to this, she was employed at WorkCover Queensland as an in-house solicitor.
