New Sparkes partner announced
Sparke Helmore Lawyers has announced the appointment of a new corporate and commercial partner.
Catie Moore will join the firm’s construction, projects and infrastructure team in Melbourne.
Throughout her career, Ms Moore has advised the public and private sectors on large construction, procurement and outsourcing projects, including those delivered as public-private partnerships, and on M&A and capital raising transactions.
Ms Moore joins Sparkes from Davis Advisory, where she was a partner. Prior to this, she was a partner at K&L Gates and Johnson Winter & Slattery.
Commenting on this latest appointment, Sparkes corporate and commercial practice group leader Shannon Platt said the firm is delighted to welcome Ms Moore to the network.
“Catie is an exceptional lawyer and will be a great asset to our firm and clients,” Ms Platt said.
“It is also a significant step in our strategic plan to have a permanent presence for the practice group in Melbourne.”
Ms Moore’s appointment follows the appointment of Andrew Lind, who has recently taken to the firm’s Sydney corporate and commercial group as partner.
Earlier this year, Sparkes announced that it had promoted six lawyers to partner across its Canberra, Newcastle and Sydney offices.
These were Ashley Cahif, Holly McAdam, Maxine Feletti, Wes Rose, Darren Rankine and Martin Taylor.
