National firm promotes three
An Australian commercial firm has announced one partner promotion and two associate promotions.
Madison Marcus has announced Mark Yum (pictured) has been promoted to partner in its construction and infrastructure division, while Daniel Kim and Benoir Bayssari have both been promoted to associate.
“Each lawyer has demonstrated a commitment to Madison Marcus over many years and has played an important role in the firm's success.
“They have developed a strong skill set in their respective areas of specialisation, furthering the firm's ability to provide quality legal services to our clients.”
Mr Yum joined Madison Marcus in 2009 and since then has acted for various stakeholders in the construction industry to achieve innovative and commercial outcomes. He specialises in construction law, general commercial litigation and corporate drafting.
"[I am] delighted to join the partnership,” said Mr Yum, commenting on his new role.
“I look forward to continuing to grow the firm’s construction and infrastructure practice and strengthen the firm’s reputation as a market leader in this area.”
Mr Kim’s new appointment will see him as associate in the firm’s real estate and transactional services practice.
He specialises in working with property developers on major mixed-use developments and is experienced in advising on the acquisition and sale of development sites, as well as commercial and industrial properties.
Mr Bayssari’s new role will see him focus on the firm’s commercial transactions, commercial drafting and corporate law matters.
In this practice, Mr Bayssari will focus on property development, company and trust acquisitions, corporate governance, asset protection and the drafting of a wide range of commercial agreements.
