Christopher Foster joins Holman Fenwick Willan as a partner at the firm’s London office. He moves over from Herbert Smith Freehills where he was also a partner.

Mr Foster specialises in matters that include disputes, run-off and professional indemnity work, as well as Bermuda Form matters and brokers’ E&O disputes.

Some of his most noteworthy career activities include handling matters arising from the Californian wildfires and Australian bushfires, the 9/11 attacks, the bankruptcy of Enron, Madoff, Hurricane Katrina, and film finance.

“We are delighted to welcome a partner of Christopher’s calibre to our international team,” said Christopher Cardona, partner in HFW’s insurance and reinsurance practice.

“His experience of handling complex insurance and reinsurance disputes further strengthens our market-leading reputation in this area.”

Mr Foster's appointment is the most recent of several to the HFW team.

Adam Strong was recently also appointed as a partner to the firm’s London office, while Rosie Ng was welcomed as a consultant to the Hong Kong office.
