In December last year Clyde & Co absorbed Australian firm Lee & Lyons, adding five partners and 25 legal staff.

Now the firm is joined by a further three partners: Alena Titterton (Sydney), Michael Tooma (Sydney) and Andrew Gray (Singapore).

Both Ms Titterton and Mr Tooma (pictured) previously worked for Norton Rose Fulbright in the occupational, health, safety and security practice. Marcus O'Brien (Melbourne) also left NRF to join Clyde & Co in November last year.

Mr Tooma assisted in the drafting of National Model Mine Safety legislation in Australia and is an active commentator on developments in the law and practice in the area, such as the Ministerial Advisory Panel on Safety Legislation Reform for the Department of Mines and Petroleum (Western Australia).

Ms Titterton's client experience spans the public and private sectors and includes defence, energy, gas, construction, infrastructure, mining, transport and rail.

Marine specialist Mr Gray previously worked as a partner and mariner at Hill Dickinson LLP.

These additions will take the total number of Clyde & Co partners in the Asia-Pacific region to 51 from 1 March.

The firm has also added 41 fee earners in Australia and five fee earners in Asia. These, along with the new partners and business services staff, will take the total number of staff at Clyde & Co in the Asia-Pacific region to approximately 420 from 1 March, representing a 22 per cent increase.

Clyde & Co has now been operating in China for 10 years, Singapore for 25 and Hong Kong for 35.
