Special counsel Alan Strain (pictured) was promoted to partner in the firm’s employment and industrial relations law practice.

Mr Strain has an international background, previously being a partner at a global firm in Scotland and serving as an employment judge in the United Kingdom.

Meanwhile, accredited specialist in personal injuries law, Susan Isaac, was promoted to special counsel.

Chris Herrald and Krystal Bellamy, who both specialise in wills and estate planning and litigation, were both promoted to senior associate.

Corporate and M&A lawyer, David Callaghan, was also promoted to senior associate.

Mullins Lawyers managing partner, Curt Schatz, said: “We are very keen to reward dedicated lawyers by providing them with real personal and professional growth.”

Mr Schatz identified growth plans for the firm when he was appointed to the role of managing partner earlier this year, and highlighted the importance of internal growth opportunities.
